WHAT WE DO
Newspaper routes have come a long way since papers were dropped on corners and delivered locally. The Washington Post has several distribution centers throughout D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Papers are trucked to the warehouses seven days a week, between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m. We also deliver many other metro papers in addition to The Washington Post.
WHO WE ARE
The Washington Post was founded in 1877.Throughout its long history, The Post has received numerous Pulitzer prizes for investigative journalism, national and international reporting, breaking news and more. We are a seven-day publication and have several distribution centers throughout D.C., Virginia and Maryland.
Independent distributors and carriers work out of the various locations where safety precautions for carriers’ health are taken seriously. The delivery teams keep the community informed 365 days a year. We look forward to working together to ensure the local area gets the best news coverage delivered for years to come.
